Politics effect you...why not "you effect politics?"
NAWAPP / NOE
Not Old Enough! To vote! But you are somebody! The political arena ignores you and don’t acknowledge that you exist! All because you are "Not Old Enough." If you are a "NOE" then come on in! Express yourself!
You’re a teenager now but how long will it be before you are able to vote. Why are you ignored now and then soon you will be told how important it is for you to vote? The major political parties ignore you because you can’t vote.
You have an opinion! You have feelings! You believe some things are bad! You want to make changes. You want to help folks older than yourself. You want to participate in activities. You may even want to participate in a protest. But you are underage!
Why not be a NAWAPP? There’s no age limit! What if you carried a protest sign with NAWAPP written in a corner of the sign? That would deliver a powerful signal to all those around you. You would send a message to everyone that you need to be accounted for and that you are significant.
If you wore NAWAPP written on your shirt or hat – you would influence many people that look at you. Without even saying anything out loud. What a message you would send!
ICE AGE
In the year 2025 the USA entered the “ICE AGE” because of the use of “ice” agents to remove immigrants from the USA. ICE is a US government agency created to handle immigration problems.
Many immigrants are living in fear of being confronted or contacted by ICE agents. They fear contact because of stories of many who were deported without benefit of any reasonable defense. These stories have made many people fearful of going out and about. Even for the simplest things such as grocery shopping. The fear of ICE has made lots of people uneasy and unwilling to expose themselves to any chance of contact by Police or ICE agents. This is why it's the ICE AGE.
The evening news showed a woman who had a minor car accident. The police came and the police called the ICE agents who deported the woman. This strikes fear in many people who live here. People are frozen by ICE!
Farmers will long remember this ICE AGE because they are not able to harvest their farm crops on time. Now farmers can’t get their product to market because they can not get people to harvest and ship their crops. Because of ICE showing up at their farms.
In cities around America, ICE appeared at night clubs, social gatherings, parks, and arrested many people. The news media reported several circumstances where the arrest, detention, or deportations were not justified.
It’s the “ICE AGE” because immigrants are FROZEN in fear of the ICE agents coming to get them!
